Tadoba is a visual treat for visitors anytime they wish to explore the vast forest reserve; however, summers (March-June) are the best time to visit this national park. During this season, the sky is clear, and since the temperatures are high, there are better chances of tiger sighting. The hot summer months have an advantage over other times. Due to increased dehydration, the watering holes become the favorite haunt of animals. You can easily spot various animals and birds during this season at the most frequented water bodies like the Tadoba lake. Another popular time to visit the Tadoba-Andhari tiger reserve is the winterseason (October-February). You can easily spot many migratory birds during this time. During the monsoon season (July-September), the park is closed to visitors.
If you are visiting Tadoba to sight tigers, this is the perfect time to visit the national park. The weather is hot and humid, with temperatures going as high as 400C. Though heat and humidity can take a toll on you, it is the ideal time to spot wildlife at the different lakes, watering holes, and streams. Since the weather is clear, you can have an excellent view of the vast expanse of forest to spot the Royal Bengal Tiger lounging under shade or lapping up cool water to quench its thirst. Wear clothes made from breathable fabric like cotton or linen, preferably in light colors, to beat the heat. Also, carry a water bottle with you to avoid getting dehydrated.
The region receives heavy rainfall during the monsoon season, making it extremely difficult to enjoy the beauty that Tadobaoffers. The roads are difficult to navigate due to the heavy southwest monsoon downpour. Since it also coincides with the breeding season of animals, the park remains closed for visitors during this season. Suppose you live in the region and wish to experience the rain-washed beauty of nature. In that case, several other attractions, including Tadoba lake and various temples (Ayyappa temple, Shiv temple, Durga Maa Temple, Sankatmochan Hanuman temple), can be explored.
Winters are the perfect time to visit Tadoba as the weather is pleasant to enjoy the safari. Apart from the Royal Bengal Tiger, you also get a chance to spot the various migratory birds that come to visit the region during the cold winter months. The temperature ranges between 20-300C, and a cool breeze flow in the area, making it pleasing to explore the lush green forests. Post-monsoon season, several brooks and waterfalls provide a quaint charm to the area. The winter sun is enjoyed by the wildlife too; hence you can easily spot various animals, including leopards, tigers, sloth bears, wild boars, and different types of deer. In addition, the clear overhead sky offers an excellent chance to spot several local and migratory birds.
For a rejuvenating experience amidst nature, you can plan your trip to Tadoba national park during the summer or winter months.

Tiger sighting is amazing in Tadoba but if you do get to see one like we did, what a great experience. The park employs locals so their knowledge of the area is excellent.

It was best than Melghat at least we were able to see the tigers in the wild of Tadoba?? Diversity of Flora and Fauna in India is well preserved and it could be better seen in Tadoba.
