In order to promote better tourism inside the Maharashtra’s National Park Tadoba has been divided into six main tourism zones and each zone has separate entry gates. Adagaon Safari gate in Tadoba is near Moharli safari zone and give access to world of floral and faunal that includes wild species such as tigers, leopards, sloth bear, hyena, jackal, wild dog, sambar, cheetal, langoors, nilgai and many more. The tourism movement in Adgaon safari gate is not restricted like any other wildlife sanctuary; hence visitors can enjoy a jeep safari with freedom all over the park.
This gate was open with effort of Maharashtra forest authorities in a bid to boost ecotourism in the buffer zone, proposed by the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR). Adegaon Jeep Safari Gate in Tadoba Andhari is among the top one buffer zone for tiger reserve which is known for hundred per cent wildlife sightings. Many good resorts and hotels are available for stay near this gate. Adegaon can be easily reached from Nagpur and Chandrapur. It is very close to Moharli gate. We not should not be confused in doing safari in core or buffer area of Tadoba reality is that both regions are popular for bumper wildlife sightings.

Jeep safari in Adegaon gate is conducted in two shifts – morning as well as in evening shifts. Six jeep in morning and 6 jeep in evening is allowed to enter inside the park from Adegaon gate. Safari can be enjoyed from the month of October to June in Adegaon buffer every year. No safari or tourism activities are permitted during monsoon season i.e. July, August and September.
Please keep in mind while booking safari for Adegaon gate, kindly book your stay near this gate so that it would be easy for you to go for a safari. There are many good hotels and resorts are located nearby gates.
